The SLAM Football Festival 2024 builds on the legacy of the Brixton Pumas, a football programme founded in 2008 by the SHARP team and led by Raul Savioz as part of the social hub recovery initiative for SLAM Lambeth. Over the years, the Pumas have won numerous trophies while showcasing the profound impact football can have on recovery. We are dedicated to continuing this tradition by raising awareness of the football programme in Lambeth and promoting similar events, ensuring that sport remains a vital tool for mental well-being.
