Frequently Asked Questions
What does my child need?
Each child needs a change of clothes, sports wear, tuck shop money if appropriate and a “Ready, Steady, Go” attitude!
Can my child purchase food at Camp?
We provide a tuck shop onsite with some healthy and tasty options. Once a week we will give out FREE fruit to encourage a healthy diet.
How do I book?
You can book by filling out the form above or by calling us on 07857501004 where our Customer Service Team will be able to help.
What will my child do at an Activity Camp?
We structure our week with exciting activities, games and outings. All children participate in active games, creative play and fun group tasks.
Can my child take their mobile phone to camp?
They can – but in case of loss, theft or damage and to help prevent homesickness, we recommend that they don’t. We cannot accept responsibility for phones and they must not be used during activities. We will provide a safety deposit room for phones.
When should I pay?
Payment should be made BEFORE the first day of Camp. After the first day of camp our rates increase. NO place is guaranteed without payment and enrolling so PLEASE do not turn up or send children as we will turn away if the booking process has not been completed beforehand.
What happens if I'm late to pick up my child?
We understand that sometimes things happen that can prevent children being collected on time. If you are 5-10 minutes late to collect we will call you to find out what the situation is and hopefully resolve the situation.
For late pick ups over 15 minutes we have a charge of £10 onwards and every 15 mins thereafter. This must be fully paid within 48 hours or will result in removal from the Camp.
We operate a ’3 strikes’ policy. If you are more than 15 minutes late to collect your child(ren) three times within the duration of the camp then we will no longer be able to accept bookings for your children to attend our camps.
My child has a medical condition or has had behavioural issues – can s/ he still come to camp?
It’s rare that we can’t host a child so please call us to discuss the details before booking. The more information we have in advance, the better we can confirm suitability or arrange appropriate care. We reserve the right to let a child sit out a session or send a child home immediately at the parent’s expense with no refund if we believe their behaviour adversely affects the enjoyment of another camper or impacts on the safety or welfare of anyone else.
Who will be looking after my child?
We apply strict standards of care and safety that any parent would expect and all our staff are employed against the companies values. All our camps undergo health and safety checks and all staff are qualified and have Enhanced DBS checks. We comply fully with the 2004 Children Act and always maintain a minimum staff to child ratio of 1:8.
